Life with MCS: A Turning Point in 2025

After living with Multiple Chemical Sensitivities (MCS) since 1975, a recent discovery in 2025 changed everything. 

Our Journey in Photography

Since 1991, Keith and I have loved taking and selling photographs. Our photographs were printed at a green, eco-friendly printing company that has received a Green Business Certification Award. Since my health had improved significantly, I tested a sample of each of our artwork materials - canvas, metal, and paper - expecting to announce how beneficial they were for us and our environment.

A Shocking Discovery

We were shocked to find that all of our photographs triggered asthma for me.

Even more eye-opening, my health improved when we removed all of our art from our home. 

I began ordering and testing so many samples of photographs printed on paper, metal, and canvas, and every sample I tried gave me asthma. I also tested the very best Eco-Care Forest Stewardship Council recyclable frames and mats with the same result.

This painful realization, that our eco-conscious photographs and every other photograph I tried were harming both health and the environment became a turning point. 

Why We Had to Change to a New Direction

We couldn’t continue creating something that caused harm.

We had been taking videos as well as photographs and we even had a YouTube channel where we shared some of these videos. However, our photography took precedence with little time left over for our videos.

So we changed to a new direction.

While our name, T&K Images, and love for the natural world remain, we’re now sharing our vision through videos, writing, and stories. 

We Also Decided To Share My Healing

I have learned that since I react very quickly to toxins with asthma and other symptoms, my body is a very sensitive toxin alarm system.

In my research, I have discovered that these toxins are harmful to everyone, as well as our gorgeous Earth.

Medications and supplements did not help me, so I began reading mountains of books for answers.

By avoiding the toxins I reacted to, researching these toxins and finding healthy alternatives, as well as improving my nutrition, the result is that I have gone from severely ill to thriving at 72. I just had my physical and my doctor told me all the results are good! How many 72-year-olds can say this?

I do not have any pain, arthritis, or so many issues that people my age suffer with. I can easily hike five miles in a day.

I have healed ITP, Hypothyroidism, and so much more.

Sharing My Stories On Our Website and On YouTube

I had been sharing these stories on Facebook and LinkedIn. Now I share what I have learned with videos and stories on our website and YouTube as well.

We love to travel the U.S. in our RV, sharing the beauty and wonder of America, as well as what I have learned about healing. We offer a new kind of inspiration through YouTube, blogs, books, and social media.

Our original motto still guides us:
